I like to think of myself as an eternal student: always learning, always improving my skill sets to be the best version of myself that I can be. Although I have enjoyed – and continue to enjoy – working with students face-to-face in a classroom, I am excited about teaching in a new environment and exploring how to make your distance learning experience better. I love teaching. But, I didn’t start out as a teacher. My passion for writing led me to work as a newspaper reporter, magazine editor, and a business professional. I believe that each of these career choices prepared the ground for me to appreciate the responsibility and the tenacity that are part and parcel of the teaching profession.
