The Black Cat was written by Edgar Allan Poe in 1843. It’s a wild narrative about a man, his wife, and two mysterious black cats.  A word of caution: this spine-chilling short story should only be read in the dark on Hallowe’en with a trusty flashlight and with good friends by your side!
