The next series of learning videos will focus on the art of paraphrasing. Please keep in mind that these videos are a synthesis of many ideas about this academic skill that I have pieced together over time. The videos contain original examples, as well as examples taken from academic sources.

If you would like to deepen your understanding of the concept of paraphrasing (also known as restatement), Charles Bazerman’s book called “The Informed Writer: Using Sources in the Disciplines” (2010) is a good place to start .
