The Guggenheim Museum has recently made more than 200 books about modern art available online – for FREE. These books can be read online or downloaded to your smartphones or tablets in PDF or ePub formats.

The Guggenheim archives also contain more than 10,000 free audiobooks.  When you’re on the bus or riding the train, why not take 15 minutes to listen to some of these complimentary audio resources?   In honour of Canada’s 150th birthday, you might like to listen to Susanna Moodie’s “Roughing it in the Bush” to learn more about pioneer life in Canada.  Or, you might like to explore something completely new such as Bhakti Seva’s “The Hindu Book of Astrology”.

Remember: you never know when a topic like “modern art” or “a book that you’ve read recently” may present itself on the TOEFL iBT or on the IELTS. So, make good use of your time.  Click here to be re-directed to the Guggenheim Archives website to download books about modern art.  If you’re interested in listening to an audiobook, click here.  Enjoy!
